Eta Chapter President's Message
Welcome to the website of Delta Kappa Gamma, Eta Chapter.
Dear Eta Sisters,
I am truly honored to serve as your president for this biennium, and I am happy that we can have our meetings face-to-face as well. What a wonderful delight it will be to hug and see our sisters again! When I met in July with the planning committee to prepare for the next two years, I was grateful for all the help and insight each of those ladies brought to the meeting. Their dedication to Eta Chapter inspires me, and I am excited to see our plans come to fruition as we move into this biennium. When I started considering a theme for the biennium, I wanted a statement that was a strong representation of the strong women who make up Delta Kappa Gamma. We are strong, hard-working women in so many facets: work, home, church, and community. Knowing several of you from my time in education in both Berkeley and Morgan counties, I know that we strive for excellence – never looking to stop but recognizing that excellence is always a pursuit. With that pursuit in mind, I chose to go with the letters DKG as a reminder of our group, and thus the theme, “Pursuing Excellence through Determination, Knowledge, and Growth” was born. I challenge each of you to stay determined, to share your knowledge, and to continue in personal growth as we move forward, facing challenges in our ever-changing world.
